Week 4 vs Poway
“Rock” of the Week: Jake Neufeld
Played his best all-around game, had great control of the tempo and the team from start to finish. Had well over 200 yards of total offense with 2 passing touchdowns and 1 rushing. Lead the team as our scout QB most of the week as well, and played smart/physical football all night.
Offensive Player: Zach Monahan
Had 3 catches for 50 yards and a big TD to set the pace. Is also one of our best blockers on the team, gives a relentless effort smothering the defense as well as running off when appropriate. Senior player acting like a senior.
Defensive Player: Isaac Scoville
Lead the team with 8 tackles, and a heighten focus with the absence of Coach Casey, did a great job of keeping our guys engaged and dialed in holding a team that was averaging 30 plus points a game to just 7.
Special Teams Player: Cole Blakeborough
A high effort high energy LB that does a great job covering kicks for us. Came up with a couple big tackles and a relentless effort taking really good angles and beating blocks along the way.
Hit of the Week: Ozzie Nicholas
On a QB scramble came out of good coverage from his Mike LB position and squared up the QB with a textbook tackle fit laying him out.
Kodak Offense: Quinton Tindell
Q is an always ready offensive lineman that runs the show with the front 5 all week during scout. He is a very smart and capable player that is getting our team better every week.
Kodak Defense: Tatum Durfee
Does a great job all week giving our offense a fantastic look as a scout Defensive back and it showed Friday night when he reminded the world that there is “No Vacancy on Durf Island!”
