How Players in Motion Started

Austin Scruggs, founded Players in Motion as a way to give the football team the opportunity to give back to their community by offering community service events throughout the year. His goal was to create a legacy and to give future players the opportunity to give back and to gain leadership experience. Austin graduated in the class of 2010 and now attends the University of California at Santa Barbara. Please continue to support the current and future leaders in the program so that they can continue to expand the program and better the community with the help of the team.

Christmas Family Service Project 2015

Using money earned recycling cans and bottles collected at a Players In Motion Bocce Ball Service Project, Football players went to Toys R Us and bought gifts for a local family with 3 kids in need this Holiday Season.  Football Families also contributed gift cards and clothing items that were all wrapped by the Varsity Football Team for the children. The Football Team Players in Motion group participated in several Service projects this year amassing over 200 hours in service for the team!
