Week 5 vs Carlsbad

“Rock” of the Week":  Carson Berry

Had 3 huge interceptions, and made some great open field tackles to help secure our first league win of the year.

Offensive Player: Karson Lippert

Karson lead an offensive explosion with 304 rushing yards, 37 receiving yards, and another 54 yards in returns totaling for an unprecedented all-purpose yards and 3 rushing TDs.  Was great without the ball as well, great fakes and blocks as well.

Defensive Player: Ozzie Nicholas

Had 6 tackles, 1 for loss and some huge big hits one forcing a fumble and ultimately knocking their running back out of the game.

Special Teams Player: Matty Reynolds

He was in on 3 tackles in coverage and did a good job stepping up to be the personnel protector in punt as well as the FB in kickoff return all while playing high quality snaps on offense and defense.

Hit of the Week: Ozzie Nicholas

First offensive play of the second half Ozzie set the tone with a great fit to an inside zone, forcing a fumble and making a big time play.

Kodak Offense:  Finlay Lumsden

Plays any and all positions needed to help prepare our defense for the opposition.  Gave his best effort in practice of the year, needs to make it the norm.

Kodak Defense: Trent Anderson

A great team player that gives a good look preparing our offense for their best game of the year.  Needs to keep this type of effort and focus the rest of the season to help us accomplish our goals.
