Ocean View FROSH Passing Tournament - Seahawk Shoot Out

This Thursday, 7/10/25, we will have a Frosh tournament at Ocean View. Please see the below link for the tournament schedule and rules. This tournament is only on THURSDAY and for skilled position players chosen by the Freshman coaching staff, roster is linked below.

Details:

  • Location: Ocean View High School, 17071 Gothard St, Huntington Beach, CA 92647

4:00pm - Players ready on field to stretch.

4:30pm - Game #1 - Field #1 (stadium)

5:30pm - Game #2 - Field #1 (stadium)

6:30pm - Game #3 - Field #1 (stadium)

7:15pm - Bracket play begins - May or may not qualify depending on record in pool play games. Top two teams from each pool play bracket advance.

Mission Viejo Passing Tourney AND Big Man Competition

This Saturday we have a passing tournament AND a big man competition at Mission Viejo High School (25025 Chrisanta Dr, Mission Viejo, CA 92691). This will be a super fun day because our linemen will be competing too!

Please see the details below and attached doc with bracket, map, rules, etc.. NO waiver to fill out at this time.

 

Details:

 

7v7 Game info:

  • Location: Mission Viejo High School, 25025 Chrisanta Dr, Mission Viejo, CA 92691 (our morning games are in the main stadium)
  • Game #1: 9am vs Warren, on field and stretching at 8:15am. MVHS Field #1
  • Game #2: 10:20am vs Oceanside, MVHS Field #1
  • Game #3: 11am vs Mission Viejo, , MVHS Field #2
  • Game #4: 11:40am vs Murrieta Valley, MVHS Field #2
  • Playoffs begin at 1:30pm, final games start at 3pm. Single elimination starting at playoffs.

 

LINEMAN COMPETITION INFO:

  • Location: Mission Viejo High School on "Lineman field" behind tennis courts (see attached map)
  • 8-11am - lineman competition
  • 12:15-1:15pm - lineman tug a war (hopefully the whole team can go watch our big men compete in this!!)

 

Other details:

  • We are only fielding ONE Varsity team one Saturday. Anyone is welcome to come but coaches will be playing players based on position need and skill level for the best chance for success. 
  • All games are 30 minutes long. However, a game will continue past the game time limit if the offensive team has a chance to win or tie. The team must get to the 20-yard.

  • Parking is free, but they are charging a $10 admission fee for adults and $5 for students & seniors. Players are free.

  • Food trucks will be on site. It is a long day so please bring a lunch or plan on buying.

USD Passing Tournament - June 21, 2025

This Saturday we will be competing in the USD passing tournament. We will be running two teams again. Coach will be sending a google form to players to see who is available and then the coaching staff will build the rosters from those results. Once rosters are completed I will send them out to families.

 

USD was able to get both of our teams on the main stadium field for the pool play games which is awesome! We will set up our "camp" with pop ups/coolers etc in the South West corner of the stadium.

 

Here is the general timeline of the day:

LCC GOLD - Torero Stadium

9:00am - vs Grossmont

10:00am - vs Elsinore

11:00am - vs Point Loma

LCC GREEN - Torero Stadium

9:30am - vs Mater Dei

10:30am - vs Mount Miguel

11:30am - vs Xavier Prep

 

Elimination ROUNDS
12:15 – 1st Elimination Round
12:45 – 2nd Elimination Round
1:15 - 3rd Elimination Round


Championship Rounds
All championship round matchups will be held in Torero Stadium (subject to change)
If Alternate Site: Manchester Field will be used


1:45 – Championship Teams move to Torero Stadium
2:00 – 1st Championship Round (1st and 2nd seed bye)
2:30 – Semi-Finals
3:00 – Championship & 3rd Place Game

 

Some notes:

  • All games will be played on USD's campus
  • Parking is free on weekends, there are 2 garages near the game sites, a full campus map will be sent out with the rules packet 
  • There will be snacks and drinks available for purchase, but no lunch will be provided, please have your players bring food - it will be a long day. 

Coach will be sending players home with the release waivers but if it somehow doesn't make it to you I am attaching here as well. Please sign and have your player bring it to camp ASAP.

SDSU Passing Tournament Info - June 7 & 8, 2025

Dates: June 7/8, 2025

LCC Green:

9:30am vs Xavier Prep - Field 600-B

10:15am vs Chino Hills - Field 600-A

11am vs Sweetwater - Field 600-B

LCC Gold:

2:30pm vs La Jolla Country Day - Field 600-A

3:15pm vs Westview - Field 600-A

4:00pm vs Paradise Honors - Field 600-A

Rosters for Green/Gold teams will be sent out by Wednesday, June 4th.  Sunday's brackets/games will be posted Saturday night after the games conclude.

Where:  SDSU - 5302 55th St. San Diego, CA 92182 (park in P7)

Bring 7v7 shirts. Navy shorts. Cleats, sunscreen, snacks and water bottles.

SDSU has strict rules for spectators, please read and adhere to the following guidelines:

  • On field 600 (grass field), the spectators must stay on the east sideline behind the area marked off by the ropes. As a general rule, they can't be anywhere on the grass, including the end zones. They may also go up on the Sports Deck and watch the game from above.
  • On field 610 (middle turf), spectators must stay outside the fenced field. They can watch from the bleachers or on the sidewalk behind the fence. They can also go up and watch from the Sports Deck. Again, no spectators are allowed in the fenced field area.
  • On field 620, the spectators must stay out of the fenced field area. They can sit behind the fence on the north sideline, the east end zone behind the fence, or the west end zone behind the fence. They can also go into Tony Gwynn Stadium and watch from the bleachers above the field. 
  • On all fields, the only people allowed are players and coaches. No wives/girlfriends, NO KIDS, no ball boys/ball girls/water boys/water girls, no photographers, no team moms, no trainers, no doctors and most importantly, no parents.  Players and coaches only. Please help us in enforcing this.

LCC Semper Fi Passing Tournament Info - May 18, 2025

This year we are hosting two tournaments on one day. We are running two varsity teams.

Please see the attached links for team rosters, brackets, rules and more information. 

LCC Green:

Sunday, May 18th. Pool play begins at 8:00am. Players be on the field by 7:15am. 

Game #1: 8:00 am, field 3

Game #2: 8:35 am, field 3

Game #3: 9:35 am, field 6

Break from 10:05-10:40 am. Championship bracket play begins at 10:40 am.

LCC Gold:

Sunday, May 18th. Pool play begins at 12:30 pm. Players be on the field by 12:00 pm. 

Game #1: 12:30 pm, field 5

Game #2: 1:05 pm, field 5

Game #3: 1:40 pm, field 3

Break from 2:05-2:45pm. Championship bracket play begins at 2:45pm.

Where:  La Costa Canyon High School

Bring new 7's uniforms (and white and navy shirts as back up). Navy shorts. Cleats, sunscreen, lunch/snacks and water bottles.
